ActewAGL needed to increase customer adoption of their EvenPay option, a convenient payment method that allows customers to fix their payment amounts, effectively creating an energy subscription. Despite its benefits, the concept of EvenPay was not well understood and was perceived as complex, leading to hesitation among customers. With not all customers currently using EvenPay, ActewAGL aimed to increase this number, leveraging EvenPay as a key retention tool.

Solution

To address these challenges, Producible enlisted local Australian comedian Chris Ryan to inject humour and charm into an explainer video, making the benefits of EvenPay more accessible and engaging. The production involved assembling a film crew and sourcing a suitable location to create an informative yet entertaining video. This strategic approach leveraged Chris Ryan's unique comedic style to simplify the complexities of EvenPay, making it appealing to a broader audience.

Producible created a 2-minute video explaining the EvenPay payment method and highlighting its key benefits. A selection of stills captured from memorable clips of the video, intended for use in collateral, website, social media, emails, and more.

These assets were created efficiently by pulling final footage from the explainer video, ensuring consistency and maximising production value.

Impact

The resulting suite of videos and stills successfully brought the important details of EvenPay to life in a highly watchable format. The explainer video has been prominently featured on the ActewAGL website, while the advertisement and social clips were deployed across key social media platforms, effectively reaching the target audience and increasing awareness about the benefits of the EvenPay payment method.
